Financial Expert Wanted We are seeking a skilled Financial Expert to oversee key financial functions and contribute to the growth of our organization. Job Description: The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising account reconciliation activities, approving reconciliations and journal entries, supporting monthly and quarterly financial close processes, and producing full financial statements. Additionally, they will identify and address financial or operational discrepancies as they arise. Audit, Compliance & Reporting: Act as the main point of contact for audit-related requests and ensure accurate and timely documentation. Prepare and file indirect tax returns (e.g., sales tax) and other statutory filings in line with regulatory deadlines. Review contracts and ensure they meet the financial compliance standards of the organization. Receivables Management: Lead the month-end receivables process, including bad debt analysis, aging reports, and necessary adjustments. Approve refund transactions and service request workflows in designated platforms. Respond to inquiries related to receivables from internal teams and external partners. Process Improvement & Team Leadership: Participate in cross-functional initiatives and systems projects, providing financial input during testing and rollout. Lead and mentor accounting staff, ensuring a collaborative and productive work environment. Drive process enhancements and efficiencies within accounting and reporting workflows. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have a post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance, professional designation (e.g., CPA), and 35 years of progressive accounting experience. You should also have strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work cross-functionally.
