We are currently seeking a **Journeyman Welder****:** with Millwright experience to join our West Edmonton team. **The challenges we have for you:****:** * Duties are approximately 90% repair welding and 10% new fabrication * Ability to perform various welding techniques, including MIG or Stick, flame cutting and air arc * Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, and grinding * Repair of highway trailers * Repair of large and small scrap metal bins * Complete appropriate documentation for all service and repairs * Maintain a clean and organized work environment * Follow all safety policies and procedures * Other projects and duties as assigned by Supervisor **The skills we are looking for:** * Mechanically inclined with proven experience with repairs * Previous Millwright training and experience considered preferred * Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking abilities * Strong verbal/written communication skills * Ability to work safely and maintain a safe working environment * A motivated, reliable, and punctual self-starter * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team * Journeyman Welder certificate * Fall Protection and Elevated Work Platform certification would be considered an asset **Company Offers:** * Dental care * Vision care * Life insurance * RRSP match * Disability insurance * On site parking * Competitive compensation * Opportunity to work on a variety of equipment * Positive work/life balance * Monday to Friday
