One of our clients, a major oil and gas company, has tasked us with finding a Contract Conformance Specialist (CCS) to support capital and maintenance projects on a 1-year contract based in Calgary or Edmonton, AB.Overview:The CCS will be responsible for sourcing and administering executed contractual arrangements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, and facilitating resolution of contract-related matters. This role involves close collaboration with contractors and internal teams including legal, project management, construction, procurement, and more.Key Responsibilities:Administer contracts in alignment with project execution strategies.Prepare purchase orders, work releases, and contract exhibits.Draft and review technical contract language and scope documents.Support contract negotiations and ensure contractor clarifications are incorporated.Coordinate project-specific communication plans and training.Monitor contractor compliance and manage documentation logs.Oversee change order processes and invoice reviews.Facilitate contract-related meetings and maintain records.Support contract close-out and compliance audits.Provide regular updates and collaborate with SCM leadership.Qualifications:Education:Bachelors degree in engineering, construction, legal, technical, or business discipline with 4+ years of relevant experience;OR Associates degree with 710 years of experience in contract administration, preferably in the energy sector.Skills & Experience:Strong communication, organizational, and technical writing skills.Experience with contract negotiation and administration in construction projects.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, and Oracle.Ability to manage multiple tasks and solve problems proactively.Familiarity with energy industry contracting practices.Work Conditions:Based at a company office within the assigned project.Minimal travel may be required.
