Financial Analyst The Financial Analyst role is a critical position in our organization. We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a key member responsible for assisting in the preparation of annual operating budgets. '> Develops, implements, and manages financial plans, forecasts, and models to ensure alignment with business objectives Analyzes financial and statistical information to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, providing actionable insights to drive business decisions Prepares management reports in a timely and accurate manner, utilizing data visualization tools to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner Responsible for government reporting by program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and assisting in the quarterly and year-end reporting process Identifies potential financial risks and opportunities, providing recommendations to mitigate negative financial impacts and capitalize on growth opportunities Manages client financial and statistical data to ensure quality and accuracy, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies Collaborates with clients to develop their financial budget (operating and capital) and monitor their financial performance, including developing financial projections Assesses financial evidence and provides recommendations, and/or develops proposals for investment requests Manages clients ministry reporting requirements, including external audit of special programs Requirements: Advanced degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field Excellent analytical, problem recognition, and problem-solving skills Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to identify key issues and provide recommendations to different levels of management Ability to work independently as a consultant to clients, as well as collaboratively as a member of the consultancy team Demonstrated organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines, exercise judgment in determining priorities, and adapt to changes Ability to manage high volumes of data and decipher them into relevant information for clients Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft products Benefits: Our organization offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary and discretionary bonuses.
