**Mechanic** **Job Description** The Mechanic will handle maintenance and repairs on over 100 pieces of equipment, including power sweepers, pressure washers, and salt spreaders. They will be responsible for regular planned maintenance, urgent repairs, and projects such as equipment rebuilds. The role requires managing equipment in two shops and addressing the ever-changing needs of the fleet, including truck rebuilds, small engine repairs, and seasonal services like snow clearing. **Responsibilities** Maintain and repair a variety of equipment, including sweepers, water trucks, and small engines. Perform regular scheduled maintenance and address urgent repairs as needed. Engage in equipment rebuilds and conversions, including propane conversions for qualified candidates. Tackle breakdowns and ensure equipment is operational in a timely manner. Service and clean equipment, maintaining high standards of operation. Manage paper logs for maintenance and repairs. **Essential Skills** Red Seal CT mechanic or Red Seal HD mechanic certification. 5+ years of experience as a Mechanic. Valid BC driveru2019s license. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** Experience in welding and fabrication. Hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
