This role involves leading and overseeing complex projects, ensuring their delivery aligns with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk management standards. Candidates should have extensive experience managing large infrastructure projects, especially in international airport development or similar complex programs. Location: Toronto, ON Your role within the team: Coordinate construction sustainability goals related to recycling, reuse, and disposal. Support planning for waste and circularity programs, including terminal waste, construction waste, and circular construction. Ensure proper handling, recycling, disposal, and removal of waste, including hazardous materials, at construction sites. Design self-sustaining circular ecosystems and infrastructure, promote innovative waste and pollution management solutions, and reduce overall carbon footprint. Collaborate with Stakeholder Relations and Communications and external stakeholders on sustainability strategies. Ensure the program and design strategy incorporate sustainability principles, occupant well-being, and align with sustainable development goals. Align project approaches with GTAAs vision for a sustainable, carbon-positive future. Mentor and support the career development of GTAA staff. Why choose AtkinsRalis as an employer? The ideal candidate: Degree in engineering, planning, or sustainability with professional certification (PE, CEM, LEED AP, ENV SP). At least 5 years of experience in environmental, energy, or sustainable design sectors. Experience delivering sustainability outcomes in infrastructure, especially in large complex programs. Understanding of embedded carbon reduction, net-zero GHG facilities, resource management, and circular economy principles. Strong technical skills across project phases and problem-solving abilities, including data analytics.
