Airswift is working with one of our major clients in the Oil & Gas industry to find an Expeditor III to join their team in Calgary or Edmonton, AB . This is a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension. Good working knowledge and experience of expediting best practices and an understanding of logistics, purchasing and project document requirements. Equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education. Ability to work on diverse projects and processes with conflicting deadlines. Knowledge of MS Windows/Outlook and Office Suite. Knowledge of SharePoint, Oracle Cloud and Salesforce is an asset. Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. Project Management, Logistics Management, Purchasing / Supply Chain Management, B-Com, Finance, Business Admin.). Customer service/Problem Solving/Organizational skills. To support the Supply Chain function by expediting and tracking all aspects/deliverables, for items as assigned (items can be included in but not limited to equipment/material required for completion of Purchase Orders, Contracts, or Projects). Proactively expedite assigned item(s), by managing and utilizing stakeholder meetings, systems, templates, processes and either aiding in mitigation of or identifying potential risks. engineering, project team members, project contractors, quality and other SCM team members (e.g. Logistics). Mentor new hires, project staff, and vendors on expediting processes Manage equipment/material logistics to meet project and construction schedules attend project meetings as needed Review and verify invoices for accuracy Resolve freight claims, shipment errors, and documentation/tagging issues Escalate commercial and technical issues to the project team Coordinate deliveries and site readiness for material off-loading Keep accurate records to support PO/Contract closeout Report regularly to team lead or manager on project and contract status Labor Category: Procurement/Supply Chain Schedule: Hybrid - In-Office (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) and Remote (Wednesday & Friday) Apply now and help us shape the future!
