Job summary: This position entails general laboring duties in a shop setting and plays a pivotal role in streamlining the flow of stripping and sorting transmission parts. Job Responsibilities: Capable of maintaining an organized work station. Attention to detail when performing tasks. Capable of using hand tools (mechanic tools) Operate and maintain machinery such as deburrers, grinders, band saws, drill presses, lathe, etc. Assist machine operators Transport raw material and finished metal products manually or by mechanical means Be able to lift up to 80LBS Sort metal parts, scrap metal and other materials Clean, package and load metal parts Clean work areas and equipment Comply with company safe work practices and procedures Various other duties as required Job Type: Full time Required education: High school or equivalent Required experience: Entitled to work in Canada Shop: 1 year Please email resumes to
