Bassani Transportation Service Inc. is a privately-owned transportation company specializing in equipment, heavy haul, over-dimensional, and general transportation. We are currently looking for experienced Transport Trailer Mechanics. Candidates must have experience diagnosing and servicing a range of commercial highway trailers, including tankers, in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Safety knowledge and comprehension skills are required. Duties include: Service, adjust, repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems. Competently use both hand and power tools in order to carry out repairs. Read and understand work orders. Write work orders, including parts used. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment. Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor / management. Required Qualifications Certified Journeyman Trailer Mechanic Two or more years related experience Hydraulic experience is an asset Positive attitude Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures & policies.
