You are inspired by the idea of being involved with an organization that is changing the way we deliver home care through our Happier Aging philosophy. **As a Nurse Next Door Caregiver, you are passionate about Making Lives Better and:** Always put clients first Have a warm and caring heart Think of creative solutions and always find a better way Follow through with commitments and build great relationships Go above and beyond (even when no one is looking!) **Availability:** Flexibility is required Casual / Part time / Full time **Key Metrics:** Attendance & Reliability AMS Attendance Monitoring System (AlayaCare) NPS; Client Score of 10 **Caregiver Requirements:** Two positive professional references Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search Negative TB test Proof of health care certification Strong communication skills in English We provide care 24/7, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our clients needs. ## **What We Offer: Personal Support Worker/Caregiver** - Nurse Next Door People Promise, you love coming to work - Competitive hourly pay - 24/7 support center to assist with scheduling related questions - 24/7 assistance related to client car - Care Designer to support you as needed. ## **You deliver on the following duties and responsibilities:** - Creates Happier Aging experiences and client focused care in home and community settings. - Delivers on our Brand Promise by owning the clients experience, ensuring that you do whatever it takes to bring peace of mind to our clients and their families - Execute client care plan as outlined by the Care Designer - Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care - Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly - Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description - Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly - Responds to Care Services Center (CSC) Team regarding scheduling inquiries and updates within the agreed upon timeline - Reviews the care plan prior to beginning a visit, completing records accurately and carrying out all assignments as requested - Engages in open communication with your Care Designer when opportunities to elevate your clients experience and care are identified - Updates availability and time off requests (as per stated expectations) with HR/CD to ensure continuity of care for your client - Service the Brampton area - Looking for all visit times (0700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-0700, 0700-1900, 1900-0700) weekdays and weekends ## **Requirements:** - 1 year previous caregiving experience - Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset - Current TB Screen, current vaccination and Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search - Must be able to legally work in Canada to apply for this position - Valid drivers license is required - Two positive professional references - We provide care 24/7, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our clients needs.
