***Job Location:***Brantford-Park Road North Location ***Program:*** Intensive Child and Family Services **Job Type:** Full Time Contract for (11 Months) ***Salary:***Band 4, Step 1 ( $51,307.66 approx. for 11 months) ***Number of Positions:***1 ***Start Date:***September 2, 2025 ***Reports To:***Program Manager ***Application Deadline:*** Until filled **Position Summary:** --------------------- ***JOB RESPONSIBILITIES may include but are not limited to:*** * Providing Intensive home, school and community based assessment and treatment intervention for children & youth in Brantford, and Brant County (ages 0 18) identified with mental health needs, and their families. * Service Coordination and collaboration in developing individualized goal-focused treatment plans. * Provide consultation, support and training to families, schools and other agencies * Must be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the families. * Participation in family sessions, group work. * Implement client focused activities, responsive to the needs of clients * Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the job (written/verbal/implied) * Participating/Facilitating as appropriate case conferences, staff meetings, team meetings, etc * Being accessible and accountable to the team members and to participate in regular supervision processes * Maintaining all records and reports as required by Centres policies and procedures **Qualifications:** * **Valid drivers license and daily use of a reliable vehicle with the ability to transport clients** * **Current Police Check, including vulnerable screening (VSC)** * Must have Child & Youth Worker (CYW) diploma, or degree/diploma in related field * Minimum 3 years experience in childrens mental health. * Experience working with families * A demonstrated ability to work from a strength-based, collaborative perspective with clients and families with complex needs, including anxiety, depression and self- harm * Implement client focused activities, responsive to the needs of clients * Sound knowledge and/or experience in the mental health field and an ability to manage the emotional and behavioural needs of clients * Demonstrated confidence, self- direction and sound judgement. * Strong ability to communicate concise, accurate information in verbal and written reporting * Participation in family sessions, group work, including evening and weekend hours * Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of job (written/verbal/implied) * NVCI and ASIST certification an asset * Knowledge of DBT, CBT and other treatment modalities are an asset * Valid First Aid and CPR (an asset) * Strong organizational, problem solving and decision making skills * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team * Ability to work flexible hours * Computer skills and knowledge of how to navigate different social media platforms * French as second language is asset **HOW TO APPLY?** Please submit your application **OR** you are also welcome to email your *resume and* letter of intent to the attention of Christina Ferrell at **** with ** Intensive Outreach- 11-month contract** in the subject line. ***If you or someone you know might be interested, please consider applying or reach out for more details.*** **We thank all candidates but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.** *Woodview welcomes applications from all qualified individuals, including individuals within employment equity categories of women, persons with disabilities, members of visible minorities and indigenous persons, individuals of diverse gender and sexual orientation and all groups protected by the Human Rights Code.
