As a senior and integral member of a successful and growing private-client discretionary wealth management team, Harp Dhillon Group, your role as a Senior Associate Wealth Advisor and Ultra-High-Net-Worth (UHNW) Financial Planner is to deliver high-value, customized advice and wealth management strategies to High Net-Worth (HNW) and UHNW clients. You will also assist with business development, opportunity spotting, and revenue generation. What will you do? Business Delivery & Operational Management Work with our team and other experts in our Financial Planning and Estate Planning group to prepare comprehensive plans tailored to clients needs in financial, investment, retirement, and risk management. Provide expert knowledge on issues affecting clients, such as holding companies, employee stock options, individual pension plans, retirement compensation agreements, gift and charitable planning. Deliver presentations to clients, COIs, prospects, and educate business owners about wealth management options, strategies, or recent developments (budget changes, taxes, etc.). Promote and support a work environment that inspires innovation, creativity, collaboration, and diversity. Contribute actively to the clients peace of mind and the teams business development pursuits. Develop strong internal and external networks and referral sources. Client & Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong internal and external networks and referral sources (e.g., Bank professionals, Accountants, Lawyers). Foster and strengthen existing high/ultra-high net worth client relationships. Assist clients and their professional accountants with year-end tax filing preparation. Ensure clients benefit from tax-minimizing options (e.g., RRSPs, TFSAs, IPPs, RCAs, Spousal loans, Trusts, insurance strategies). Maintain up-to-date records of clients net worth and cash flow statements. Review tax returns (T1, T3, etc.) for tax planning opportunities and collaborate with professionals for implementation. Work with clients to achieve charitable and legacy planning goals. Make a meaningful and lasting impact. Must-have CPA designation 8-10+ years of relevant industry experience Experience working with HNW and UHNW clients Nice-to-have In-depth tax course Background in areas such as senior tax management, financial planning, family office, or related roles Designations like CFP, other finance or life insurance credentials Whats in it for you?
