About You Were looking for a passionate and dependable French tutor or teacher who: Has a warm, child-centered personality Is approachable , coachable , and open to learning Possesses excellent oral and written French skills Has a background in education , special education , or educational psychology Can teach both 1-on-1 and in small group settings Demonstrates strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff Maintains classroom discipline while delivering effective and engaging lessons About the Role Plan and deliver engaging French language instruction aligned with curriculum standards Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate individual student needs Participate in occasional team meetings or trainings Maintain professionalism and positive relationships with families Provide regular progress updates and communication as needed Requirements Educational background in a relevant field (teaching, special education, child development, etc.) Prior experience teaching/tutoring children or adolescents Ability to manage and motivate students of varying ability levels Clear criminal background check Professional references from previous roles Compensation $33/hour for 1-on-1 instruction $40/hour for group classes Job Types: Part-time, Freelance Pay: $33.00-$40.00 per hour Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-09-03
