Jr. Customer Service RepresentativePosition Summary/Objective:As a Customer Service Representative, you are responsible for ensuring that all customer orders are received, logged, processed and shipped in a timely manner. You will work with the Distribution, Logistics and Supply Chain teams to coordinate the flow of customer orders from receipt and confirmation, through order entry, status tracking, document preparation and shipping to invoicing, as well as responding to all related internal and customer enquiries.Primary Responsibilities:Demonstrate and uphold our core valuesOrder Intake: Receive and acknowledge orders, ensuring all information is correctOrder Processing: create sales orders, log orders, confirm pickups in an accurate and timely mannerProcess and ship Sample Requests for sales team. Take OWNERSHIP to check inventory of finished goods to ensure available stock to fulfill orders; liaise with appropriate departments regarding shortages, out of stocks, delays and/or complaintsMonitor progress of all orders and ensure on time shipping, capture any shortages and delays. Coordinate with Supply Chain on custom manufactured orders to confirm order status and production datesWork with the Warehouse & Logistics teams to determine shipping dates, coordinate appointments, as well as prepare outbound shipping documentsWork as a TEAM to support the accounting department with following-up on past-due accountsKeeps the work atmosphere FUN by keeping it light and welcomingGeneral administrative and other duties, as requestedReporting RelationshipsReports to the Customer Service SupervisorNo one reports to this roleKey ObjectivesFill rateOn time deliveryDelivery-related penaltiesCustomer satisfactionEducation & Qualifications:1-2 years experience in a customer service, order fulfillment or logistics role, preferably within a Manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods environmentStrong understanding of business processes and accounting concepts as they relate to salesTechnical aptitude and comfort with Outlook, Excel, Access, EDI systems, ERPSkills & Abilities:Attention to detail and strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skillsBe a TEAM player with excellent interpersonal and communication skillsInitiative and flexibility, be able to change course quickly; excellent organizing and time management skillsPASSIONATE with a positive attitude with a desire to learn and collaborateExceptional time management and organizational skills, self-starter with a high level of initiative and ADAPTABILITYDemonstrates HUMILITY throughout the company dailyAptitude to exhibit, RESPECT and protect Core Values in a changing environment
