Job title: Occupational TherapistLocation: Calgary, AlbertaJob type: Permanent Full TimeMandatory requirements: Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational TherapistsKey ResponsibilitiesAssessing the clients physical and/or cognitive functioning within the clinic and in the community.Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoningEducating clients on topics such as therapeutic modalities, interpersonal skills, mental and physical health literacy, wellness planning, etc.Supporting return-to-work programs (job coaching, accommodation recommendations)Utilizing e-charting software to document treatment sessions and submit reports to stakeholders promptlyParticipating in case conferences and case management with various stakeholdersCollaborating with the inter-professional team at your clinic and other program clinicsSupervising Occupational Therapy students (as preferred)Networking with all stakeholders to promote Lifemark OT programsManaging caseload in a fast-paced environmentWhat You Bring to the Team: Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational TherapistsPrevious experience treating clients with physical, neurological, and/or mental health conditionsAbility to be autonomous, working both independently and as part of the teamStrong written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional developmentPrevious experience supporting auto insurance, long-term disability, and WCB referrals is a strong assetExperience supporting occupational rehabilitation is a strong assetA valid drivers license and access to a reliable vehicleWhy Lifemark:We live our values in everything we do - striving for simplicity, doing the right thing, being inclusive and welcoming, and having fun!
