The Opportunity: We are seeking a motivated and passionate Technologist (Interior Design) to join our Interior Design team in the Edmonton office. We deliver exciting interior design projects to a diverse base of clients. Kasian is looking for someone who shares this passion and brings a strong base of technical knowledge on interior spaces. Here''s what youll be doing at Kasian: Prepare and review Feasibility, Schematic Design and Design Development Drawings (DD) and outline specifications Prepare and review Contract Documents (CD) and specifications Ensure coordination of consultant documentation for project criteria, client program, drawings, and specifications Ensure the accuracy, quality, completeness, and schedule of finished drawing packages through coordination with team members and consultants Prepare tender documents Assemble, circulate, and file project documents Participate in production meetings with the project team, consultants, and client representatives Perform Quality Control procedures Perform building code analysis Perform Contract Administration (CA) duties and/ or support the CA process Heres what you bring to Kasian: Architectural Technology or Interior Design Technology Diploma and 2+ years of experience in Design Development Drawings and Contract Documents Demonstrated experience and proficiency in AutoCAD required, Revit experience an asset Expert knowledge of and experience with building codes, interior design, and construction processes Excellent communication and time management skills Expert problem-solving skills Attention to detail Strong work ethic What We Offer: A creative and collaborative environment National project exposure and opportunity to support high-profile pursuits Mentorship and learning opportunities in business strategy and development Great downtown office location with easy access to public transport Flexibility and work-life balance in a values-driven workplace Ready to be part of a leading architectural firm?
