Job SummaryThe Business Analyst will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, analyzing processes, and recommending solutions that align with organizational goals. The role involves facilitating communication, documenting business needs, and ensuring that project deliverables meet quality, scope, and timeline expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesGather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, surveys, and process reviews.Analyze current business processes, identify gaps, and propose process improvements or automation opportunities.Create detailed documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications, and Process Flows.Facilitate communication between business users, developers, and QA teams to ensure alignment and clarity.Support solution design and verify that proposed solutions meet documented requirements.Coordinate and execute UAT (User Acceptance Testing) including test case development, defect tracking, and sign-off.Assist in change management activities including training materials, user guides, and process documentation.Track project progress, risks, and issues, escalating when necessary.Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and governance frameworks.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by gathering feedback and implementing lessons learned.QualificationsBachelors degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Proven experience as a Business Analyst in IT, public sector, or corporate environments.Strong skills in requirements gathering, process modeling, and documentation.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.Proficiency in tools such as MS Office Suite, Visio, JIRA, or similar.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively across business and technical teams.Preferred SkillsExperience with data analysis and reporting tools.Knowledge of system integration and software development lifecycle (SDLC).Understanding of regulatory compliance relevant to the industry.
