This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in supply chain operations, manufacturing engineering, and supplier readiness in a high-precision production environment.Key Responsibilities:Assess and validate supplier readiness for aerospace component productionCollaborate with suppliers to ensure capacity, capability, and quality expectations are met prior to production launchIdentify and mitigate risks within the supply base to avoid disruptionsConduct supplier audits, readiness reviews, and performance monitoringPartner cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, quality, and production teamsDevelop and track action plans to ensure supplier timelines and deliverables are aligned with project requirementsQualifications:5+ years of experience in supply chain or manufacturing engineering within an industrial or aerospace settingStrong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and supplier performance managementExperience working directly with suppliers to resolve readiness or capacity challengesAbility to read technical drawings and understand product specificationsExcellent communication, coordination, and project management skillsPreferred:Experience in aerospace or other highly regulated manufacturing industriesFamiliarity with supplier onboarding and development processesAdditional Details:Position is based onsite at the clients Calgary facilityFull-time hours (day shift), contract roleCompensation: $45$55/hour depending on experience
