The service department is an important area of our business, ensuring that our equipment is ready and available as well as maintaining a flow of information on that equipment for both the rental staff and the sales staff, which is critical to the success of our customer relationships. **Job Description** - Participate in safe workplace safety, environmentally sound behaviors and practices at all times in support of Battlefields health and safety policy programs and initiatives; - Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with company and manufacturer standards; - Perform inspections on equipment on job site; - Ensure parts are ordered in a timely manner; - Maneuver efficiently and effectively within the region in all traffic situations; - Responsible for truck inventory and work order practices; - Provide excellent customer relations in a fast-paced; - Adaptable to on-call work schedules and willing to work in all weather conditions; - Ensure vehicle is maintained and organized; - Perform other duties as assigned. **Key Qualifications** - Experience working with heavy equipment industry - Strong background and knowledge of construction equipment including CATEPILLAR, JLG, SKYJACK WACKE - Strong diagnostic skills on the operation of a gas and tier 4 diesel powered engines and A/C. Strong understanding of hydraulics and lifting equipment (Booms, Scissors etc.) - Ability to obtain a Canadian Nuclear Clearance certificate.
