**Job Title:** Jr. HVAC Maintenance Mechanic **Location:** Toronto Pearson Airport **Structure:** Full-time, On-Site, Monday to Friday 6:00am-2:30pm or 2:30pm-11:00pm **ABOUT THIS CAREER OPPORTUNITY** Black & McDonald Limited is actively seeking a **Junior HVAC Maintenance Mechanic** located in Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport to maintain, upgrade, troubleshoot and repair all mechanical equipment within the Airport and grounds to achieve optimum life span of equipment. **Responsibilities:** Work shall include but not necessarily be limited to the following: - General maintenance of HVAC related equipment, maintenance to include but not limited to belts changes and filter changes, minor adjustments, and inspections. - Equipment inspections - Assisting HVAC mechanics, escorting contractors. - Assist other classifications as required - Perform light duties such as sweeping, general cleaning, garbage removal. - Installation of safety barricades - All other maintenance duties as assigned **COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS** - Good oral and written communication skills - Team Player with excellent interpersonal skills **EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS** - Grade 12 diploma - Must possess a clear drivers abstract - Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office - Must be able to apply for obtain and maintain necessary security clearance (RAIC) including transportation security clearance. - Must be able to apply for obtain and maintain an Airside Vehicle Operators'' Permits (AVOP) - Valid G driver''s license Black & McDonald welcomes and encourages applications from persons with disabilities.
