Position: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Milton, ON L9T 5C3Pay: $25Duration: 6-month contract + possible extensionKey Responsibilities: Install, inspect, test, repair, and maintain industrial and building equipment (electrical & electronic systems focus) Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using CSA codes Design, build, assemble, modify, and install electrical controls and systems; perform preventative maintenance per TPM schedules Maintain service equipment, work areas, tool crib, and spare parts inventory Perform functional tests and mechanical inspections to ensure quality before shipment Coordinate contractors work permits, train them on Eaton safety requirements, and assist with machinery movement/layout changesRequirements: High school diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of general maintenance experience Must reside within 80 km of Milton, ON Preferred: 309A or 442A License, forklift experience, fabrication & production machinery knowledge, HVAC and air compressor systems knowledge, mechanical aptitude for industrial truck/scissor lift repair Ability to read mechanical blueprints/wiring schematics, use measurement/machine/hand tools, and troubleshoot effectively Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication skills with both office and production teams
