Our client, a top lubricant manufacturer, needs a technical sales rep who sells more than just productthey sell solutions. Youll work with industries from mining to food, guiding clients to the right product for their needs. This role is 2/3 end-users, 1/3 distributors, covering a large territory. We want a technically savvy, value-driven technical sales representative who can turn knowledge into results and build lasting partnerships. Responsibilities:Territory & Sales PlanningManage and grow business within a defined territory.Develop and execute a territory sales plan to achieve or exceed targets.Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to create a sales budget for the assigned territory or accounts.Customer Development & Relationship ManagementBuild strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers through regular visits, calls, and presentations.Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, sales opportunities, and forecasts using CRM tools.Solution Selling & Technical SupportAssess customer needs and recommend tailored, value-driven product solutions.Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales cycle.Offer additional technical support as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.Work FocusBusiness Development vs. Account Maintenance: 50% / 50%Field vs. Office: 60% / 40%Overnight Travel: Up to 50% of nights per month within the territoryQualificationsEducation: DEC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experienceExperience: 35 years in a similar roleLanguages: Bilingual (English & French, written and spoken) mandatoryIndustry Knowledge: Experience in bearings, gears, chains, or related products is an assetMarket Knowledge: Understanding of the industries we serve is an assetTrainingExtensive in-class and online training providedKey AttributesNaturally curious and eager to learnAbility to explain technical concepts clearlyStrong team player
