Their goal is to put clients first, providing independent advice and utilizing a variety of investment tools to deliver quality service. They follow the principles of value investing and create customized investment policy statements and portfolios for each individual client based on their financial goals.They are looking for existing Portfolio Managers who are ready to venture on their own. They are a smaller and more nimble firm without all the bureaucracy that the big/bank owned firms have. Their first duty is to clients and not to shareholders which is the cornerstone of how we make investment and business decisions.Role DescriptionAs a Portfolio Manager at our client, you will be responsible for managing investment portfolios on behalf of their clients. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will have an existing client base, a CIM or CFA designation, and a minimum of 3 years of work experience in investment management. In addition to managing assets, they are looking for someone who wants to grow their business and market by appearing on BNN Bloomberg often.Key Responsibilities:Appear on BNN Bloomberg MonthlyManage investment portfolios in accordance with client objectives, risk tolerance, and investment policiesConduct thorough financial analysis and market research to identify investment opportunitiesDevelop and implement investment strategies to optimize portfolio performanceMonitor portfolio performance, assess risk exposures, and make adjustments as necessaryCultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and guidanceActively participate in business development activities to attract new clients and grow assets under managementRequirements:Existing client base (25M in AUM)CIM or CFA designationMinimum of 3 years of work experience in investment managementStrong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and portfolio management principlesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProven track record of delivering strong investment resultsExceptional interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentLocation: Vancouver, Canada.
