**Plumber | UBC | Commercial New Construction** _$34-46/hr_ **Job Description** We are seeking skilled apprentices and journeymen plumbers for a long-term opportunity. The role involves working on new construction projects, specifically 6-story walk-ups and institutional projects. **Responsibilities** Work with cast iron, copper, and pipe sizes ranging from 0.5 to 4 inches. Perform rough-ins and install mechanical joints, Wirsbo pipe, faucets, toilets, and piping. Potentially work on heating and cooling equipment installations. **Essential Skills** 3rd year apprenticeship completed. 2+ years of experience in institutional or commercial plumbing. Proficient in rough-in and finishing plumbing tasks. Ability to work in Vancouver and/or UBC. Completed relevant schooling. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** Red Seal certification. The team typically comprises a foreman, 1-5 journeymen, and 1-5 apprentices. Our work hours are generally from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime. The environment is family-oriented, with an emphasis on teamwork and long-term employment.
