Job Description As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in receiving and preparing product, maintaining the Produce floor and displays, and selling product in support of high standards. Maintain a clean and well-stocked display by checking codes, rotating, and removing out-of-date products. Assist Team Leaders in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items. Monitor and prevent spoilage, communicating waste to buyers, Team Leaders, and shift supervisors. Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required. Assist with periodic inventory checks. Arrive on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings. Provide excellent customer service, addressing needs in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques. Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product. Follow established procedures, including health and sanitation, and safe work practices. Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintain equipment according to cleanliness and safety standards. Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensure accuracy of signs and pricing. Immediately report safety hazards and violations. Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
