We''re looking for a reliable and energetic **Material Handler (Shipper/Receiver)** to join our dynamic warehouse team! In this role, you''ll be at the heart of our operations - ensuring materials are packed, shipped, received, and inventoried with precision and care. From building custom crates to managing inventory systems, your work will directly support our production departments and keep our projects on track. If you''re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys physical work, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized workspace, we want to hear from you! - **Position Type:** Full-time - **Location:** 812 Burton Rd, Vars ON - **Compensation:** $27.65/hour to start - **Schedule:** - Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (9 hour shifts) - Friday: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM (half day) - **Time Off:** - 3 weeks of paid vacation per year - 5 paid sick days per year **Key Responsibilities:** - Build a variety of skids & crates for inventory/projects - Pack, seal and label project materials to prepare for shipping - Commence inventory counts, weekly, bi-weekly & monthly - Follow shipping & receiving QC documents and submit to shipping Team Lead - Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment (forklift & pallet jacks) - Stock incoming project orders in project related bins - Order pick inventory &project related material for production departments - Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards - Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment - Maintain shipping and receiving area by ensuring a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations - Maintain inventory area cleanliness & organization - Pre-assemble inventoried goods - Help in other departments as required **Requirements/Qualifications:** - Legally entitled to work in Canada - Reliable transportation - Valid drivers license with a clean driving record - Ability to obtain Level 1 security clearance with the Government of Canada - High school diploma or equivalent is preferred - 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing or warehouse facility - Proven experience as order picker, shipper/receiver or other warehouse position - Experience or license in handling forklifts, pallets jacks and other warehouse equipment - Ability to read a tape measure - Mathematically inclined - Great attention to detail - Diligent and punctual - Good communication skills verbal, written & digital communication - Good physical strength and stamina **Assets:** - Previous experience using hand & power tools - Previous experience with Excel, SharePoint & QuickBooks - Previous experience operating an inventory management system - Good physical strength and stamina **Benefits:** - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - Paid sick/vacation time - Competitive salary - Career development support and growth opportunities - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) - RRSP Matching Program - Team building events and a fun, inclusive company culture - New shop facility now located in Vars, ON Raymond EMC takes pride in our core values and is looking for someone who aligns well with our values and team, wants to learn new skills, and grow with our company. **Excellence:** Everyone at Raymond EMC believes in being the best.
