The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, with experience in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (such as Power BI), and a solid understanding of data modeling and reporting are essential. Familiarity with statistical methods, predictive analytics, and cloud-based data environments (e.g., Azure) will be considered a strong asset.Key ResponsibilitiesData Collection & Management: Gather, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, including training sessions, operational systems, and maintenance activities.Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform business decisions.Reporting & Visualization: Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders. Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and operational metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (operations, IT, finance) to ensure data integrity and alignment with business objectives. Decision Support: Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize resource allocation, scheduling, and overall operational performance.Required Skills & QualificationsBachelors degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases.Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills to present complex data in a clear and actionable way.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Azure cloud platforms and/or Fabric.Knowledge of Python and PySpark.Understanding of data governance and privacy best practices.Experience in the aviation, training, or technology environments is an asset.
