If you're passionate about hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, wed love to have you on board!Job Description:Responsible for ensuring the lounges and is in good repair and exceed our guests expectations, keeping all building assets in good condition by executing a preventive maintenance program and attending to all day-to-day requests & completing all maintenance work requests from all departments in a timely mannerIdentify and rectify general maintenance issues; (Analyze problems, identify courses of action & implement solutions with available resources to a high degree)Respond to requests in a courteous, efficient, and safe manner; with establish processes that ensure strong communication among department and a seamless guest experiencePerform preventative maintenance and necessary repairs to the lounges, including equipment within all areas of the lounges, including the kitchen, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical;Drywall repair, painting, and other basic carpentry as needed;Make regular internal and external rounds of the lounges to ensure that everything is in working order, reporting any issues to the Engineering and Facilities Director.Maintain work area, all equipment, and work logs;Respond to emergency situations including fire alarms, power failures; leaking / burst water pipesEnsure Health & Safety programs are up to local requirements & codesManage third party vendors while carrying out repair works or new projectsProvide support to Events organizer when running eventsWe are looking for...Technical experience in a recognized trade with a general understanding of building maintenance and operation. Plumbing and electrical experience a must.Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written;Ability to work within a team environment and a passion to learn and grow in this role; base on our core values of Excellent Service, Innovation & Team WorkWorking knowledge of mechanical systems and operations - ie. chillers, boilers, water softeners, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical;Strong problem-solving, analytical, creative thinking, and decision-making skills;Good computer and communication skills;Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational skills;Thrives in a fast-paced environment-maintaining composure and objectivity with guests and team members;Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
