Airswift is looking for: Industrial Shuttle DriverLocation: Kitimat, BCSchedule: Monday to Friday (5/40)Duration: 4-months contract Job Description:We are looking for a reliable and experienced driver to join our team to transport people around our large industrial site, with occasional trip into town. The ideal candidate will have excellent driving skills and a thorough knowledge of industrial driving, as well as experience in maintaining vehicles and ensuring they are always clean and ready for use along with other tasks as assigned. Responsibilities:Safely transport personnel between various locations within the industrial site, community and region as tasks require.Operate and maintain company vehicles and ensure they are always in good working condition.Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure they are safe to drive.Ensure vehicles are clean, fuelled, and ready for use, including replenishing fluids. Follow all traffic and safety laws, rules, and regulations.Maintain accurate and up-to-date vehicle logs, including fuel and maintenance records.Communicate effectively with management and other team members to ensure that tasks are completed safely, efficiently and on time.Provide excellent customer service to all passengers and always maintain a professional demeanour. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.A valid Class 5 driver's license.Clean driving abstract.Attended or have the ability to attend an accredited defensive driving courseAt least 3 years of driving experience including winter (preference in Terrace/Kitimat area)Experience transporting people.Familiarity with the local area and knowledge of the best routes to take.Excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to safety.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with others.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing schedules.Must be physically fit and able to lift to 50 pounds.Experience in maintaining vehicles, conducting routine maintenance, and previous fleet experience a benefit.Ability to perform basic computer functions and operate IOS devices.
