ABOUT THE ROLE Were building the next generation of talent at LayerZero. As our Technical Recruiter, youll be one of the first people candidates meetand one of the most critical. Youll help shape the future of our engineering teams, identify world-class talent across frontier tech domains, and design candidate journeys that are fast, rigorous, and deeply aligned to our values. This role is based full-time in our Vancouver, BC office. WHAT YOU''LL DO Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles across LayerZero: sourcing, screening, coordinating, and closing Partner directly with hiring managers and engineers to define role profiles, build pipelines, and calibrate signal Craft bespoke outbound strategies tailored to high-caliber candidates (think Principal Engineers, Compiler Experts, Core Infra Builders) Deliver high-quality candidate experiences at pacespeed matters, but quality matters more Run structured, signal-rich interviews and guide interviewers through calibration and debriefs Become a system builder: help scale and improve how we run recruiting, not just run reqs ABOUT YOU Youve recruited for deeply technical roles before (backend, infra, systems, protocol, Rust) You know how to write compelling outbound that gets repliesand understand how to tailor messaging across profiles Youre comfortable assessing resumes, probing for signal, and escalating red flags early You care about candidate experience, but not at the expense of rigor Youre motivated by impact: you want to help define the DNA of an engineering org at the frontier Bonus Points Youve hired in early-stage environments before (01 recruiting muscle) Youre fluent in Web3, or technical enough to ramp quickly Youve run debriefs, driven interviewer training, or contributed to rubric design Equal Opportunity Employer LayerZero Labs is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
