Join us in this journey of growth, exploration, and togetherness!Reporting to: Regional ManagerLocation:Lower MainlandEmployment Status:Full-TimeSalary:$55,000 - $65,000 Annually+ Wage EnhancementKey Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis role is also more than the usual - compliance of licensing regulations, administration, staff management you will drive the growth and sustainability of our playschool by:Ensuring high enrolment:Keep our classrooms full by maintaining robust enrolment and building waitlists for future openingsOptimizing the enrollment process:Respond promptly to inquiries, schedule and conduct tours professionally, and guide families smoothly and effectively from interest to enrolment.Tracking and improving conversion:Use our tools to monitor inquiries, tours and followups, and continually refine your approach to convert prospects into enrolled families.Provide warm interactions and connections: Build instant and lasting connections that make parents say 'This is where my child belongs'.Successful candidates will demonstrate both a passion for early childhood education and the operational savvy to achieve and sustain full enrollment. If you are ready for the next step in your ECE career and grow with us, we would love to hear from you.Qualifications and CompetenciesRequired:Valid British Columbia Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certificate; preference for candidates with an Infant Toddler Educator (ITE) certificate. Special Needs Educator (SNE) an asset.Minimum 3 years of experience in early childhood education, including leadership or supervisory roles.Strong understanding of the BC Child Care Regulations, Early Learning Framework, and Play Today, with ability to maintain play-based learning principles and guided by developmental milestones while ensuring regulatory compliance.Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.Current Emergency Child Care First Aid Certification, Clear Criminal Record Check, Immunization Record, 3 Letters of Character References.Experience opening and managing a licensed child care facility in British Columbia, able to develop and execute strategies to promote the playschool and attract new families.Strong understanding of budgeting, staff scheduling, and operational planning.Ability to prioritize and exercise time management with a positive attitude including working under pressure and maintaining focus during hectic periods.Training or experience in efficient conflict resolution, team leadership, or project management.Dont hold back!apply today, even if you do not tick every skills list.
