The Event Services (Banquet) Attendant contributes to the successful execution of events within the studio spaces in the Food and Beverage Department. Working closely with the F&B leadership, the role ensures the seamless delivery of Hyatt''s service standards, enhancing the overall guest experience during events and banquets. Event Services (Banquet) Attendant are experienced and the finest of hospitality servers. They are responsible for making the studio space visually appealing and presenting the menu offering for the event. This may include linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties include general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment. **Essential Job Functions** - Read Banquet Event Order (BEO) and know how to serve all guests. - Greet guests and respond to requests. - Use proper in-room clearing and aisle tray break-down buffet or other special food service tables and equipment. - Assist in setting up/breaking down buffet or other special food service tables and equipment. - Greet guests following guidelines set by the policies/procedures regarding the service of food and beverage. - Follow the food restrictions given by the guests and in accordance of the BEO. - Complete assigned side work. - Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager. **Other Duties:** - Adapt to changes in banquet service dictated by event requirements, industry standards, and hotel policies. - Adhere to the hotel''s rules and regulations and attend training sessions as required. - Perform any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by F&B leadership Qualifications **Job Requirements** - Hours: Flexible and long shifts; scheduled days and times may vary based on need. Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. - Ability to stand during entire shift. - A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. - Minimum one year of previous banquet serving experience a thorough understanding of banquet service. **Physical Requirements** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; bend; walk; use hands or finger; or feel objects, tools or controls; lift boxes (up to 50 lbs); talk and hear.
