Our client, a global company, is seeking Gas Turbine Engine Mechanics (Aircraft Maintenance Engineers) to join their team. This is a DIRECT HIRE role and an excellent long-term, career opportunity. Duties & Responsibilities: Disassembly, assembly, inspection and test stand work on gas turbine engines Implement work plans by following instructions from various sources Test and measuring equipment to conduct work Determine and report defects on parts, assemblies, engines, and accessories Certify accuracy of work and documentation Parts ordering Other duties as required Requirements: Recognized apprenticeship to Transport Canada standards. International candidates must have foreign aircraft technician license or related trade certificate 1+ year experience in engine or component maintenance, repair and overhaul Experience with one or more of these types of engines: CF6-50/80, V2500, CFM56, CFM LEAP, PW2000 Good knowledge of main standard inspection and repair in engine repair Able to work on computer systems (ex. MS Office) Intermediate knowledge of SAP Able to provide others with technical advice Solid English communication (both written and verbal) Good interpersonal skills Assets: Experience with engine testing Need help ?
