Job Title: A Prepared Foods Team Member is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold foods, and maintaining a clean and organized working environment. Responsibilities: Prepare and serve a wide range of food items, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, salads, and more. Sample products to customers, answer questions about ingredients and preparation methods, and provide recommendations on pairing options. Stock and rotate prepared foods in hot and cold cases, ensuring freshness and maximizing sales potential. Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Assist with inventory management, including checking stock levels, rotating products, and reporting discrepancies. Provide exceptional customer service, answering phones and pages promptly and courteously, and addressing customer needs in a timely and effective manner. Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and managers. Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers. Basic knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques, with a focus on creating visually appealing dishes. Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a wet and dry environment. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
