Diesel Mechanic Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair diesel vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications, focusing on quality and efficiency. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines, utilizing technical expertise to resolve complex problems. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations, adhering to established schedules and protocols. Assist in training new employees on equipment and procedures, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development. Requirements: At least 3 years of experience working with diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles, demonstrating a strong understanding of engine mechanics and performance. A valid drivers license and a willingness to obtain a CDL, ensuring safe transportation and compliance with regulations. A mechanics tool set, including essential tools for diagnosing and repairing diesel engines. A valid Ontario Automotive Service Technician credential (Registered Training Agreement, Provisional Certificate of Qualification, or Certificate of Qualification), verifying expertise and qualifications.
