Loomex is dedicated to exceeding regulatory requirements while innovating to enhance safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction, positioning itself to expand its footprint across Canada and the US with industry-leading emergency preparedness and aviation services.Summary of the RoleThe Commercial Director is a pivotal senior leadership role responsible for steering revenue growth and operational excellence across Loomexs core divisionsAirports, Response and Readiness, and Explorer Solutions. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, you will lead business development efforts, operational performance, and client relationship management to drive profitability and long-term success. You will formulate and implement comprehensive commercial strategies that align with the companys overall vision and growth targets.This role requires close collaboration with the three business unit leaders to integrate strategic planning, resource allocation, and service delivery, ensuring all parts of the organization move cohesively towards shared goals. You will oversee the development of performance measurement systems, setting key performance indicators and establishing reporting frameworks to track divisional progress and outcomes. A core responsibility will be identifying and capitalizing on new market opportunities across North America while managing risks and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.You will champion a culture of innovation and operational discipline, empowering teams to exceed client expectations and continuously improve service quality. Your leadership will be critical to fostering cross-functional collaboration, nurturing talent, and driving initiatives that support the organizations mission of enhancing public safety and resilience.Is This for You?You bring a strong track record in senior operational leadership and commercial strategy, ideally within aviation, emergency management, or public sector consulting environments. Your experience owning multiple P&Ls and driving revenue growth in complex organizations will be essential. You are comfortable leading diversified teams across multiple locations and have a demonstrated ability to align operational performance with business objectives.Analytical and metrics-driven, you use data to inform strategic decisions and operational improvements. Your communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. Familiarity with Canadian aviation regulations, emergency management frameworks, and fire life safety protocols will be an asset.You are motivated by results and excel in creating cultures of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
