This role requiresLevel 3 technical expertisethe successful candidate must be capable of independently diagnosing and resolving the most complex system issues, driving root cause analysis, and delivering sustainable solutions without escalation.Key ResponsibilitiesProvideLevel 3 supportfor Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu) and IBMAIXenvironments, including advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.Administer and optimize virtualization platforms such asVMwareandKVM, ensuring high availability and performance.Manage enterprise storage and backup solutions, with hands-on experience inCommvault, NetBackup, or similar platforms.Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues involvingVPNs, Firewalls, IP connectivity, and port configurations.Implement and maintain system monitoring and configuration tools such asNagios, Zabbix, Ansible, or Red Hat Satellite.Develop and maintain automation and configuration management scripts usingBash, Python, Puppet, or Ansible.Collaborate cross-functionally to support projects, upgrades, and deployments with minimal disruption to production systems.Lead incident resolution efforts, mentor junior team members, and contribute to knowledge base documentation.Required Skills & Qualifications5+ yearsof progressive systems administration experience in alarge-scale, complex enterprise environment.ProvenLevel 3 support expertiseable to resolve the most challenging technical issues without escalation.Advanced technical knowledge inLinux (Red Hat, Ubuntu)andIBMAIX.In-depth experience with enterprisebackup, storage, virtualization, and automationtechnologies.Strong networking knowledge, including troubleshooting at theprotocol and configuration level.Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and deliver lasting solutions.Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and maintain high service quality under pressure.LifeLabs compensation programs are commensurate based on the role, skill, effort, responsibility and working conditions, irrespective of gender, race, ethnicity, beliefs, age or any other personal characteristics.
