Capgemini Canada are looking for Intermediate and Senior Product Software Engineers specializing in STERLING FILE GATEWAY for our partner in Consumer Goods.Location: Mississauga Ontario (3 days a week on site)Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and support solutions using IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) and connect directConfigure routing rules, protocols (CD, MQ, API, SFTP etc.), and partner onboardingTroubleshoot file transfer issues and provide timely resolutionPerform system maintenance, upgrades, and patching of Sterling environmentsCollaborate with business units and trading partners to implement file transfer requirementsDocument processes, technical designs, and system changesEnsure compliance with security and audit standardsProvide mentoring and technical guidance to junior developers and support teamsRequired Qualifications:5 years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway, connect direct and control centerStrong understanding of codelist, SFG routing rulesExperience with protocols such as SFTP, MQ, AS2, Connect:DirectExperience with partner onboarding and certificate/key managementFamiliarity with monitoring and alerting tools for Sterling (like IBM Control Center)Solid understanding of file encryption/decryption and secure data transmissionStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skillsExperience in cloud-based deployments of Sterling (AWS, Azure, etc.)Preferred Qualifications:Exposure to DevOps tools for CI/CD in integration environmentsExperience with IBM Control Center, Sterling Secure Proxy, or Sterling Connect: DirectWork Environment:Remote/Hybrid work flexibility (3 days a week on-site)Collaborates across IT and business teamsLife at CapgeminiCapgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
