Job Opportunity for a Diesel Mechanic The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on diesel vehicles to ensure they are running efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements to prevent potential issues. Diagnose and repair problems with diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems using specialized tools and equipment. Work efficiently and effectively to meet productivity and quality standards while ensuring a safe working environment. Requirements: A minimum of 3 years of experience working with diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles is required. A valid drivers license and a willingness to obtain a CDL - training will be provided. A well-stocked mechanics tool set is essential. Applicants must hold a valid Ontario Automotive Service Technician credential Registered Training Agreement, Provisional Certificate of Qualification, or Certificate of Qualification (as listed in the Skilled Trades Ontario Public Register). Additional Information: Competitive wages will be based on location, experience, and qualifications. This is a Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM full time day shift position (occasional Saturday - Sunday). We prioritize work-life balance.
