The focus will be on strategic planning, delivering smarter media solutions, the integration of all specialized services offered byEssenceMediacomand rigorous financial management leading to business profitability. We are looking for someone who will demonstrate strong leadership, communication, the ability to foster teamwork and management skills coupled with control of many delegated tasks.YOUR IMPACT:Client Service:Manage and own client relationships (Director level and below, which may include Senior Manager, Brand Managers, Directors) on portfolio of accounts or a large account ($1MM in revenues or greater)Primary client contactClient retention and satisfactionBuild and nurture relationships with client partner agencies, ensuring collaboration, strong partnership and a united vision to achieve client business objectivesResponsible for client performance reviews including Vantage scores, with a goal of achieving all clients in green or secureManage SOW and ultimately client expectations within agreed upon deliverablesResponsible for driving PRIP (client bonus structure) through management of client scorecard and evaluationManage client briefingsLeadership:Successfully lead account team (teams of approximately 4-6 resources, depending on accounts)Establish culture of excellence and quality outputLead by example and foster an environment of collaboration andteam workEmbraceEssenceMediacom'sculture, mission and vision embody it and action itTeam/Staff Management:Management of all team membersLed by the HR department, active in staff recruitment, both interviewing and selection processStaff career development/succession planning through strong mentoring and coachingPerformance management (i.e. My360, employee relations)StaffretentionManagementof Financials:Assist SVP or GAD with the development of business plans, Vantage action plans and contracts)Input numbers in forecast systemMonitor financial health of account(s)Responsible for ensuring monthly invoicing /billing for client is up to dateStrategy and Innovation:Work closely with SVP or GAD, to understand clients business and competitive landscape, develop business direction/strategy for each clientCollaborate with Strategy (StrategyDirectors)andInvestment teamsin order toset strategic frameworkAble to understand consumer insights and apply results to planning processOffline and Online Media Planning:Solid understanding of online and offline planningSkilled interpretation of client briefs and writing strategic plans, establish strategies to meet objectivesWell-versed in systems planningExtensive understanding of different media channelsLead clients plan presentations.Extensive knowledge of all syndicated and proprietary toolsApprove media plansBusiness Development:Identify opportunities within portfolio of accountsin order todeliver commercial and S&I targetsResponsible for application and a comprehensive knowledge of suite of specialty servicesLink between client, strategy and investment teams from a strategic standpointYOUR QUALIFICATIONS:Strong presentation skills with confidence in front of large groupsAbility to work in a team environment that promotes collaborationAdept at communicating effectively across all levelsDemonstrated critical thinking andproblem solvingabilitiesStrong analytical abilities and quantitative skills, including math proficiencyTechnical proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPointPost Secondary Diploma orBachelors Degreepreferred7+ years related experienceThe typical salary range for this position is between $95,000 and $105,000 CAD, commensurate with experience and qualifications.Life at WPP Media & BenefitsOur passion for shaping the next era of media includes investing in our employees to help them do their best work, and were just as committed to employee growth as we are to responsible media investment.
