Location: VictoriaSalary: $80,000 $100,000 (based on experience)We have an immediate opportunity for an Architect to join our Victoria team! If youre looking for a role where you can apply your expertise, contribute to impactful projects, and collaborate with a passionate team, wed love to hear from you.What Youll DoIn this role, you will lead project teams, direct consultant coordination, and manage client relationships while championing design excellence and technical precision. You bring a strong foundation in building systems and sustainable design, along with the leadership skills to deliver high-quality work and support team growth.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and technical execution of architectural projects from inception to construction completion.Provide conceptual and detailed design leadership, applying a rigorous and curious design process.Oversee the production of comprehensive construction documents including specifications, tender packages, and permit drawings.Manage and coordinate internal teams and external consultants across disciplines, ensuring alignment on design intent, quality, and schedule.Direct and execute contract administration, including site reviews, change management, and project close-out.Integrate sustainable design principles and strategies into project work.Serve as a mentor to junior staff and contribute to the firms collaborative and accountable studio culture.What you BringDegree in Architecture and a valid license to practice architecture in CanadaAIBC Registered5+ years of experience in architectural design and project management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects from concept to completionStrong portfolio of completed projects that highlight your ability to integrate natural elements, sustainability, and functionality in architectural designProficient in industry-standard software such as Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
