Cardiologist - Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer CentreJoin to apply for the Cardiologist - Abbotsford Regional Hospital and Cancer Centre role at Fraser Health AuthorityJob SummaryAbbotsford Regional Hospital (ARH) is inviting applications for two full-time General Cardiologist positions. ARH is located in the Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley and is part of the Fraser Health Authority. Inpatient cardiology has a 24-bed CCU/telemetry ward. Echocardiography and nuclear medicine studies are provided at ARHCC. Outpatient clinics include Heart Function, Lipid, Pacemaker, and Cardiac Rehabilitation clinics.The nearby Royal Columbian Hospital is the regional cardiac surgery centre. The cardiology program at ARH is expanding, and starting in 2024, it became a regional cardiology site for pacemaker implantation, with plans to expand to ICD and CRT implants in the future.The successful applicant will join the Cardiology Department, which consists of 8 FTE cardiologists, and will participate in on-call service, ward service, electro-diagnostic interpretation (including possibly echocardiography), and supervise/teach medical trainees. Candidates with Level III echocardiography, TEE qualification, or heart failure advanced fellowship training are desirable.
