KGH has become one of BCs leading healthcare centres.Home to the Interior Heart & Surgical Centre, the IHSC is BCs only cardiac critical care centre outside of Victoria and the Lower Mainland, and KGHs principal surgical site. It features 12 specialized ORs created for Thoracic, Urology, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Plastics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Ear, Nose, and Throat, Orthopedics, General, and Trauma surgeries. Of these, 2 ORs are dedicated to Cardiac Surgery. Within the IHSC, KGH also has a modern maternity ward and an adjacent Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.Our state-of-the-art Centennial Building boasts a total of 360,000 square feet, an expanded emergency and ambulatory care department, new medical inpatient units, modern operating rooms, and a rooftop helipad. Additional facilities include a dedicated pediatric ward, as well as adolescent and adult psychiatry units. It's better here!Compensation Type Combination Estimated Remuneration As a geriatric psychiatrist in Kelowna, you'll earn between $400,000 - $600,000, from fee-for-service payments, sessional contracts, and MOCAP level 2. Physician Overhead Enjoy the benefit of no overhead costs, unless you choose to pursue a private practice.Benefits and IncentivesVacation Leave With flexible scheduling, you'll have ample time to recharge and unwind. Relocation Funding Available $9,000 maximum for relocation within BC; $12,000 maximum within Canada; $15,000 maximum from outside Canada.
