Reporting to the Corporate Services Supervisor, the Corporate Services Clerk assists in the preparation and handling of annual maintenance documents and other corporate duties.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesOpen and distribute incoming mail within the Corporate Services DepartmentPrepare annual maintenance documents (annual reports/returns, annual consent resolutions) for British Columbia companies and Federal corporationsSort returned annual reports/returns and collation of same for filing at corporate registryAttend to corporate registry filings including annual reports, changes of directors, and changes of registered/records office addressesDraft standard letters and documents and routine e-mail correspondence concerning annual maintenance using application software (Word, Outlook and ALF)Maintaining bring forward systemPrepare invoices and post time using Acumin accounting softwareQualificationsMinimum 2 - 3 years of Corporate Records experienceGraduate of a Legal Administrative Assistant Program and/or legal experience in a similar positionProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent English oral and written skillsExcellent organizational skillsAble to draft standard correspondence with minimum supervisionExperience with Corporate Database (ALF) an assetExperience with BC OnlineAble to communicate effectively with clients, lawyers and staffAble to work independently and as part of a teamFamiliarity with billing/invoicing processes in a legal environment would be an assetWhat You Can Expect From UsCompetitive salariesComprehensive health benefits for employees and family membersWellness subsidyA matching pension programFlexible work arrangementsAn annual education/tuition allowancePersonal and flex days for personal appointments and commitmentsEmployee assistance programEmployee referral bonus program #J-18808-Ljbffr
