This position requires experience with developing efficient computer vision algorithms on resource-constrained computing platforms on edge. You will collaborate with different Amazon teams to make informed decisions on the best practices in machine learning to build highly-optimized integrated hardware and software platforms.Key job responsibilitiesResearch and implement the state-of-the-art computer vision and sensor fusion algorithms for resource-constrained computing platforms on a large scale.Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to design and implement computer vision and machine learning based features for Ring devicesInfluence system design and product vision by making informed decisions on the selection of technology, data sources, algorithms, and sensors.Basic Qualifications3+ years of building models for business application experiencePhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of CS, CE, ML or related field experienceExperience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journalsExperience programming in Java, C++, Python or related languageExperience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computingPreferred QualificationsProven track record of innovation in creating novel algorithms and advancing the state-of-the-artExperience in prototyping, designing, implementing and deploying large-scale computer vision and AI applicationsExperience in developing highly-optimized CV and ML algorithms on resource-constrained platformsExceptional writing and verbal communications skillsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
