Job Overview:The Senior Manager of Subcontracts is responsible for developing departmental plans, including business, production, and organizational priorities. This role requires multidisciplinary expertise and a strong understanding of the industry to achieve financial and operational objectives. The Senior Manager manages multiple teams, sets organizational priorities, and allocates resources effectively. They must identify and resolve complex technical, operational, and organizational problems. This position directly impacts business results by supporting projects, products, services, and technologies, and by developing policies and plans.Compensation for a 2/1 rotation schedule ranges from 182,025 CAD to 232,191 CAD (this range covers contracted hours only). McDermott also offers a competitive total rewards package.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering (preferred)Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in SubcontractsAt least 10 years of Oil & Gas experience with an EPC or OperatorExcellent communication skillsStrong knowledge of subcontract policies and processesProven ability to develop, negotiate, and administer complex subcontracts and policiesEffective in prioritizing tasks, monitoring progress, and meeting deadlinesExperience working with multifunctional teams#LI-CA1#LI-DNIResponsibilities:Support staffing plans for projectsManage the commercial aspects of subcontracts from inquiry to closeoutCoordinate with Legal, Project Controls, Accounting, and Engineering regarding subcontract terms, progress, costs, payments, and technical contentDevelop subcontract sourcing documentation with Engineering, Construction, and Project ManagementNegotiate change orders and closeout mattersPrepare subcontract reports following established proceduresMaintain proper documentation using electronic systemsAdminister subcontracts in the field from award to closeoutSupervise daily activities of support, technical, or production staffResolve issues related to subcontract administrationAddress subcontract execution issues within own business lineReview customer contracts and incorporate terms into subcontracts with legal assistanceProvide daily direction to team members for successful subcontract executionWork with the budget holder to meet operational objectivesExplain complex contract issues and obtain necessary agreementsManage employee performance through task assignments, skill assessments, and coachingEnsure compliance with McDermott policies and proceduresEnsure team understands responsibilities and authoritiesComplete mandatory training in a timely manner #J-18808-Ljbffr
