Job Summary:The Die-Cutting Operator is a critical member of our production team responsible for operating high-performance flexo converting presses to produce various labels and packaging solutions.As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing process. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential to meeting our business objectives.Responsibilities:Operate GM or ABG flexo converting presses according to established standard operating procedures.Examine job orders to determine specifications such as rolls, production times, stock requirements, laminate, varnish, and anilox BCM.Install dies, spot plates, metering rollers, anilox rollers, doctor blades, varnish/laminate stations, and knife blades in machines according to specifications using hand tools.Monitor feeding, die-cutting, and finishing processes to maintain specified operating levels and detect malfunctions making adjustments as necessary.Collect retain samples, perform quality tests, and conduct visual inspections of rolls.Serve as the first point of contact for safety, quality, and productivity issues.Understand shop floor metrics and be accountable for meeting team performance targets.Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalentFive years of experience in flexographic printing with technical certification or Associate's degree preferred.Proficiency in PC software and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Work Environment:Work is performed indoors in a dynamic manufacturing setting with regular exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and moving equipment.
