The position location is flexible, offering in-office, hybrid, or fully remote arrangements. Edjuster is a division of Crawford & Company (Canada) Inc. Role The Content Claims Specialist role focuses on four key areas within edjusters content claims operations: Act as an intermediary between insurance property adjusters and policyholders, assisting with inventory and valuations of total loss contents caused by theft, water, fire, etc. Process content claims accurately and timely using edjusters claims handling methodology and platform exclaim. Operate from a home-based office, handling new claim files assigned regularly. Record all activity related to claims handling, including hours worked and administrative duties. This role requires frequent interaction in English, including reading and preparing documents. Responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Conduct onsite visits to meet with adjusters, policyholders, and vendors, and inventory total loss contents. Ensure claims are processed efficiently and meet company standards. Coordinate resources for inventory and valuation tasks. Provide timely updates on claim status to stakeholders. Complete daily logs and maintain claim notes in the platform. Ensure accurate and timely pricing of items according to standards. Represent edjuster professionally to promote the companys brand. Work in diverse conditions (weather, debris, etc.). Qualifications Secondary School diploma. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience in property claims is a plus. Provide a noise-free workspace and reliable internet. Company equipment provided; maintain it properly. Reliable transportation and valid drivers license required. Willingness to travel to loss sites, including overnight trips. Strong computer skills (Office 365, Windows 10). Effective communication skills. Adaptability and willingness to learn.
