What You'll DoTake charge of our month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting across all jurisdictionsPrepare and review financial reports and commentary for board, audit committee and banking packsOversee regulatory compliance including BAS/GST, income tax instalments, FBT, withholding tax and sales tax within relevant districtsOwn the preparation of statutory financial statements for NZ and the consolidated groupReview and maintain control over the Groups balance sheetBe the go-to for technical accounting matters from IFRS16 lease accounting (portfolio of 50+ leases) to impairment testing, and guide the team through complex challengesMentor and develop a team of talented accountants, contributing to the collaborative, high-performing finance crew that loves a challenge (and a bit of fun!)Partner with department heads and venue leaders to provide insights that drive performance and smart decision-makingWhat You've GotCA/CPA qualified with a minimum 7 years experience in financial reporting or technical accountingStrong technical knowledge of IFRS (demonstrated knowledge in IFRS 16 and impairment modelling is essential)Leadership skills that inspire trust, teamwork, and growthExperience across complex, multi-entity and multi-jurisdictional businesses (NetSuite knowledge is a plus)Clear and approachable communication style, making finance understandable, not intimidatingProactive, ability to work autonomously, with a sense of urgency and a positive can-do attitudeWell organised planner who works well under timeline pressuresProven ability to build and manage relationships with different stakeholdersKeen?If you're curious to explore, energetic about guests, and heart-working for our fun-loving communities, Funlab is the place for you and youre the Motherfunner for us!Dont self-reject !
