The role ensures the effective use of data platforms and cloud technologies to meet organisational goals and enhance data-driven capabilities.This full-time, permanent position can be based at either our Abbotsford - Vic, Bella Vista or Tweed Heads - NSW sites.The key aspects of this role will include:Data engineering and developmentReporting and business intelligence supportCollaboration and complianceAbout YouYou are a technically skilled, proactive professional who is passionate about using data to make a difference in peoples lives.Minimum 3 years experience in a data engineering or advanced SQL development roleStrong SQL Development and Optimisation Skills: Proven ability to write, troubleshoot, and optimise complex SQL queries and stored procedures.Hands-on Experience with Azure Data Tools: Practical experience using Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and Azure Synapse for data integration and pipeline development.ETL/Data Pipeline Development Expertise: Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and optimise scalable ETL/ELT processes across diverse data sources.Highly regarded skills include:Experience with Power BI: Familiarity with building datasets and supporting report development using Power BI.Knowledge of Payment/Reconciliation File Structures (e.g., DEX): Experience working with financial data, particularly generating or processing DEX or similar files.Understanding of the Aged Care or Community Services Sector: Awareness of sector-specific data needs, compliance requirements, or service models.Candidates will be required to hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering or a related field.Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification or equivalent experience are advantageous.Most importantly, you share our workplace values of Collaboration and Courage, Authenticity, Respect and Excellence - CARE - in everything you do.To be considered for this role you must have full Australian working rights, current Police and Working With Children Checks we can arrange police checks for successful candidates.
